NGCCA is an alumni-funded Shared Interest Group of the UNG Alumni Association. It supports the North Georgia Corps of Cadets by preserving its traditions and serving as a voice for alumni, to the university.
With support from the UNG Cadet Leadership Academy and the Office of Alumni Relations the organization hosts Boar’s Head Corps-Alumni Weekend to celebrate the legacy of the UNG Corps of Cadets program and unite cadets, alumni, parents, and friends.

$75 for a round of 50 clays, 2 boxes of shotgun shells and a cart. Gun rental is available but is not included.
Your registration fee of $150 pays for you and a cadet to shoot.

We are proud to formally announce our speaker for First Call on Friday evening.
LTG Jamie Jarrard served in the Army National Guard while he was a cadet at UNG. After commissioning he entered active duty in May 1988 and served as platoon leader with 7th Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored Division, in Germany and deployed to Kuwait during Operation Desert Storm. He then served at the 5th Ranger Training Battalion at Camp Merrill in Dahlonega. He moved to Hawaii and commanded an infantry company in 2-27 Infantry in 3rd Brigade of the 25th Infantry Division. He then served at HHC, 75th Ranger Regiment from 1996 through the fall of 1997. Jamie then assessed and was selected to serve in 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment - Delta, at Fort Bragg, where he held numerous leadership positions including troop commander, Squadron operations officer, Selection and Training Detachment Commander, Squadron Commander and Unit Commander. In this Tier-1 unit Jamie planned, rehearsed and operated numerous classified operations overseas and deployed in support of multiple combat operations including Operation Uphold Democracy, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom. His final assignment as a COL was as the Joint Special Operations Command J3. His General Officer assignments included service on the Joint Staff, CG, SOJTF-OIR, SOCOM J3, CG of 25th Infantry Division, Chief of Staff for INDOPACOM, and he finished his career as the US Army Pacific Deputy CG.
The event includes the presentation of the Keeper of the Corps Saber to the Cadet Brigade Commander and NGCCA belt buckles to all seniors in the Corps.
