The 2026 juried alum exhibition explores the way that the fine arts and crafts invite connection. They are meant to be seen, held, and lived with, bringing people together while prompting reflection and dialogue. The works created by artists and craftspeople function not only as objects of admiration, but as bridges between neighbors, friends, loved ones, and strangers. Objects shaped by the hand can resonate deeply, forging connections that are felt in the heart.
The juror for this exhibition is Kyle Anthony Clark who earned an undergraduate degree in art education from the University of North Georgia, where he studied from 2009 to 2013. He serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Library and Information Studies at the University of Alabama.
The annual juried alum exhibition is open to all former visual arts students of the University of North Georgia, North Georgia College, and Gainesville State University.

NGCCA is an alumni-funded Shared Interest Group of the UNG Alumni Association. It supports the North Georgia Corps of Cadets by preserving its traditions and serving as a voice for alumni, to the university.
With support from the UNG Cadet Leadership Academy and the Office of Alumni Relations the organization hosts Boar’s Head Corps-Alumni Weekend to celebrate the legacy of the UNG Corps of Cadets program and unite cadets, alumni, parents, and friends.

Joining Shawn on stage will be fellow UNG alumni, former cadets, and songwriters Wayne Baird ‘89 and James Corbin ‘02. All proceeds benefit the UNG Corps of Cadets Golden Eagle Band, Georgia’s oldest college marching band and one of our most enduring traditions.

The UNG Wind Ensemble Presents “Happy Birthday America!”

Join the UNG Bands for an exciting semi-quincentennial (250th birthday) celebration of the United States. This concert will feature the UNG Wind Ensemble and students from the Lumpkin County High School Band. The selections include patriotic pieces such as America the Beautiful and George Washington Bicentennial March by John Philip Sousa. It will also include representative music of American culture, such as American Riversongs by Pierre LaPlante and Teal Fusion by Chris Evans Hass. The finale of the concert will be the official march of the United States, Stars and Stripes Forever, which will feature both bands and a special guest conductor well known to the UNG community!
The members of the Wind Ensemble are UNG undergraduates representing a wide variety of majors from the Gainesville and Dahlonega campuses. They are under the direction of Dr. J. Ashley Jarrell. Admission is free for this 2:00 PM concert which will take place on the Library Technology Center Patio on the Dahlonega Campus. We are pleased to announce that registration for the 51st Annual UNG Alumni Weekend Scholarship Golf Tournament is now open! The tournament will be held on Friday, Apr. 17, 2026 at Achasta Golf Club in Dahlonega, Ga with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.
Registration fee includes breakfast, tournament gift, on-course contests, mulligans, raffle tickets and a meal following the round. Please see below to register.

For the first time since February of 2018, the University of North Georgia men’s and women’s basketball teams will play a game in historic Memorial Hall, hosting Columbus State on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 5:30 (women) and 8:00 p.m. (men) for an inaugural Throwback Game.

• Recognition of historical 50th anniversary milestone - 1976 men's basketball team (first back-to-back regular season champions)
• Recognition of historical 20th anniversary milestone - 2006 women's basketball team (school's first-ever PBC regular season championship)
Ticketing to UNG Athletics events is a fully digital and cashless transaction. NO CASH IS ACCEPTED.
Admission is free to all elementary school-aged children (fifth grade & under).
No outside food or drink is allowed to be brought into UNG Athletics venues (past ticketing gates).
For nearly five decades after its 1960 construction, Memorial Hall was the primary home court for the North Georgia men’s and women’s basketball teams since the restart of intercollegiate athletics in 1970. On January 24, 2015, the playing surface in Memorial Hall was officially renamed in honor of longtime men’s basketball coach and athletics director Bill Ensley, who re-established the men’s basketball program in 1971 and served as director of athletics for 24 years. The last intercollegiate basketball games in the building were on Wednesday, Feb. 18 in front of over 1,300 Spirit Night fans where North Georgia split a doubleheader with Clayton State. The UNG women’s basketball team would go on to christen the new UNG Convocation Center on Feb. 24 with a 105-52 win over Georgia Southwestern.

If your membership is inactive, it can be activated at the Mixer check-in and pay by credit card or pay the $15 fee for you and the $15 fee for your guest(s)
