Lewis Society Nomination Form

The Lewis Honor Society celebrates an exceptional group of women who embody excellence, leadership, and service. Each honoree is a distinguished alumna of the University of North Georgia, recognized by her peers for going above and beyond in her field and community. This select and prestigious society honors women whose professional achievements and community impact reflect the pioneering spirit of Willie and Mary Lewis, the first female graduates of the University of North Georgia.

DEADLINE to submit 2027 alumnae nominations: Thursday, December 31, 2026. Nominations received after this date will be on file for the 2028 alumnae nominations.

The Lewis Society Recognition Program is sponsored by Women of UNG, a Shared Interest Group of the UNG Alumni Association.

Nomination Form Instructions:

• You may submit as many nominations as you like.

• Nominations may be submitted by non-UNG alumni.

• The nomination form may be forwarded onto other alumni and friends of UNG.

Criteria:

• UNG alumna who has contributed to her profession and/or community through outstanding accomplishments.

• She exemplifies integrity, courage, humility and leadership.

• The nominee has made a positive impact and her leadership reflects well on the legacy of the University of North Georgia.
