Episode 6: Christie Gribble ’08
Christie Gribble is a proud graduate of University of North Georgia, earning a dual degree in Finance and Management in 2008. She currently is the President and CEO of the Fannin County Chamber of Commerce & CVB, a small yet vibrant mountain town in North Georgia. After Christie graduated from UNG, she began her career in a highly competitive leadership program with Regions Bank, which kick started her work in large corporate settings in Birmingham, AL with Regions and in Atlanta with EY and Deloitte. After she dipped her toes in the city life for long enough, she found her way back to the mountains. She worked for six years as Executive Director of Fannin County Development Authority before she started her current role in 2022. Christie is a native to Fannin County and is passionate about making positive impact for stakeholders. She and her husband Paul are both Leadership Georgia Alumni. She serves on several boards including, Georgia Association of Chamber Executives (GACCE), Georgia Economic Developers Association (GEDA), and Fannin Literacy Action Group (FLAG). In 2020, Christie completed a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) training and in 2021 completed another 300 hours of training. In her spare time, Christie finds joy in teaching and sharing yoga.
