Blake is passionate about serving America's high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families through a comprehensive, one-stop-shop approach to financial planning. Blake manages over 40 employees across five states and recently opened an office in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in an effort to expand BrookHaven's international footprint and business opportunity. Before launching BrookHaven, Blake served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Bison Advisors, a renowned investment management firm overseeing billions of investable assets across the U.S. Additionally, Blake founded BrookHaven Technologies and now leads a team developing innovative software solutions for the tax industry. His focus is on enhancing client experiences, enabling CPAs to focus on proactive planning, and delivering differentiated service offerings that align with the needs of high-net-worth families.
Blake and his wife, Loren, met at UNG. After graduation, Blake served in the Georgia National Guard for over 10 years, flying Blackhawk helicopters for the majority of his service. He credits his success to the unwavering support and patience of his wife; to the dedication of his team, which is made up of multiple University of North Georgia alumni (and students); and to a small organization within the Corps of Cadets, the Mountain Order of Colombo, where dark nights, heavy rocks, and steep hills under the glow of a red headlamp built the grit and endurance necessary to thrive through the ups and downs of entrepreneurship.
